Rainy day led us to see the fishes and Legoland! Arthur more interested in the diggers outside! Must get this boys haircut as well!!!

Mixed parents evening tonight. Glowing report for Seb - he just needs to work on starting to write his letters! He’s already doing so well with his reading and get the impression he’s a bit of a teachers pet!

Thomas’s teacher didn’t really have a positive word to say about him and we came away feeling very frustrated and confirmed our lack of confidence in her! She really doesn’t know him at all and he is quite frankly uninspired by school at present. She even said at one point she doesn’t know what more she can do for him! She’s the professional here surely she should be guiding us all through this testing phase? I have no idea how to engage a 6 year old who is in a world of their own most of the time to do work that they hate doing hence why I didn’t become a teacher I’d be terrible at it!!
