Quite calm on the east coast...

... so a swim this morning. Probably my last before I go on holiday because I have quite a lot to do tomorrow without dealing with wet bathers and wrap.
A good game of Pétanque this morning and I’ll now spend the afternoon researching the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry. A month ago I’d never heard about it; had no idea it ever existed. Now I’m learning as much as I can because this is what was randomly selected for my assessed guided tour for my bronze level of the Guild of Accredited Guides. There is a RGLI museum but it’s still closed for winter so I can’t access it until I get back from holiday which leaves less than a week to plan my tour.
