Charing Cross Hotel

The buildings surrounding Charing Cross station have always reminded me of the 70's sci-fi show, Space:1999. It's a confluence of two abiding aspects of the show: the 70's style "excitingly chunky" sets, and the octagonal pods which house the landing struts of those wonderful Eagles. Funny thing is this building complex is probably from around the same time. The tower is a hotel now and the block on Bath Street appears to be empty.

Taken from the top floor of the neighbouring car park, in order to get the Mitchell Library in as contrast.
