The Royal Train Shed
This is the Royal Train Shed, Wolverton (Britain's first railway town) built in the 1880s so that Queen Victoria's train could have somewhere for a wash and brush up. The present Royal Train lives somewhere else and this building fell into disrepair.
A few years ago it was renovated and now looks amazing. So amazing that we’ve decided to live in it.
Someone had the bright idea of building a number of ‘town houses’ inside the shell of the building (see extra). We’ve rented one for the next few months while we wait for the house that we’re trying to buy to become available.
I just hope the Queen doesn’t want it back.
