Wet Bideford

Today we went into Bideford for supplies from Morrisons.  Walking along the quay was very amusing, despite the rain.  This odd piece of equipment was bolted to the deck of a crumbling boat we though was probably a dredger, though it seemed mostly unused.  Some signs it was possibly lived in?  There is another in Extras of its bow looking up to the old bridge, and also one of the little rowboats I always fall for, tied up rather oddly to a handrail.

Nice cafe lunch and such a roaring fire in the evening we thought we might just have overdone it!!
