In the Locality

Can't get much more local than this, it is the local nature reserve at the rear of the estate.  I tried to judge my foray out carefully, in between the rain showers but I thought that a bit of big stopper photography was in order.

What surprised me was the ability to achieve some soft reflections in the small pool in the foreground.  It was blowing an absolute gale.  One minute there was blue sky the next minute I was protecting the camera from rain coming in almost horizontally on the wind.
