In The Making......!!!!!!

The Apple & Blackberry Jam.....this is a seriously good jam and so easy to make...I’ve made apple & blackberry jelly before, but that is fiddly and a bit of a pain!!! with having to strain etc...
But, this, you just boil up the fruits to pulps (I do push the blackberries through a sieve) as I don’t like the seeds...then weigh both pulps and add an equal amount of sugar and juice of a lemon...and there you go....done..
It only took 5mins boiling to reach setting too...!
This is made with frozen blackberries and a bag of Bramley Apples from the supermarket but of course it would be so much better made in the Autumn when the apples are just off the trees and the blackberries are bursting with ripeness on the bushes.....unpolluted berries of course not from the side of the road...!

Meant to add that there was no major impact from Storm Gareth at all here...the North West got a good lashing tho’ and my daughter said she was almost ‘flying’ in Galway!!!
