Life through the lens...

By ValC

Hang on.

Just reminded me of a song Tony Blackburn played on his Golden Hour.
“ Hang on Sloopy.” Sung by the Mc Coys 1965.
Some of you may remember it!

The birds have certainly been hanging on to the feeders today as it has been so windy.
Fortunately seems to have calmed down now.

A memorable day. Mr C has driven the car for the first time since 1st January.
It seemed strange to be sat in the passenger seat.
He got some new glasses to try yesterday, and they have miraculously done the trick.
He isn’t seeing double anymore.
Still some adjustments to make. Thinner lenses, and may be bifocal.
All a matter of time.
We are very grateful that our optician, Ian, is such a patient man. Nothing too much trouble, and always takes time to see us whenever we have popped in.
Our actual eye tests are booked for next week.
Mine included as it is 2 years since my last one.( apart from my annual hospital visit)
Must say Mr C is very happy to be driving again too.
