The George Michael Collection

Went to see George Michael's art collection at Christies this evening, before it goes under the hammer tomorrow. All proceeds will be going to the George Michael Foundation and will then be distributed to various charities by them.

There was such a lot to see, including this one by Damien Hirst (and several by him), and others by Anthony Gormley, Tracey Emin, Bridget Riley, Picasso, Miro, etc, etc. He was quite the collector.

So glad I went, as I was in two minds as it means late getting home. But good to see the painting that used to hang above one of his fireplaces!
