Under the weather

This chap has a bit of a cold.  The childminder called late afternoon to ask if she could give him some Calpol as he had a slight temperature (and had been a bit off-colour all day).  This may also have had something to do with him waking up for about 2 hours in the night - I kind of slept through it, the husband didn't really and was highly unimpressed.  

Came home and the youngest climbed onto my lap as I drank my tea and promptly fell fast asleep.  Bless him.  I thought it best to make the most of my cuddle and spent about half an hour making sure he really was fast asleep before tucking him into bed.  Had lovely story time with the eldest cuddled up in bed with him.
