The Local Castle

After a visit to Bristol this afternoon to see the youngest daughter and newest granddaughter, Imogen, who's doing well at 12 weeks, I put my mind to the subject of getting a wide photograph for the Wide Wednesday theme of something  in my locality.

I'd heard about some new lights installed by Cadw, who look after Caerphilly Castle, to illuminate it at night. The blipfoto shows it illuminated in red. As I was taking a photo I got talking to a man who turned out to be a marketing manager for Cadw. He got the lights changed and I managed a couple of others in Blue and also Green.  I'll forward them on to him.
