White carpet

This was the sight I woke up to this morning. Surprise, it has obviously been snowing a lot here in Oslo last night. Just had to grab the camera and go outside to take a picture. The big question now (besides meaning of life) is how long it takes before the snow becomes slush....

Have started mental preparation for tonights dinner with good friends. On the menu is lutefisk. Don´t know what "lutefisk" is ? Keep on reading (definition freely stolen from Wikipedia....)

It is made from aged stockfish (air-dried whitefish) or dried/salted whitefish and lye. It is gelatinous in texture and has an extremely strong, pungent odor. Its name literally means "lye fish".

Believe it or not, I do this voluntary. Guess I am an adventure seeker......
