Aftermath

The wind seemed to peak at around 67 mph last night but it was the intensity of it that was amazing. It was non-stop for around 24 hours and is still gusting into the 50's.

The very high tide at Leebitton and wind direction has caused the old dry stane wall to the left of the flagpole to be knocked over. It was a high wall - the same height as the wall to the right. Hopefully the pier is still there but probably won't know until tomorrow by which time it should have calmed down.
