A visit to the New Register House and a talk by Iain Ferguson manager of the National Records of Scotland.
This was about their great website ‘Scotland’s People and how to get the most out of it.
This website has been going since 2002 I think and I’ve been a member since 2004. I am keen on researching our families history and it really interesting.
Extra blip is of the dome of the main records area, the main blip is of the ledgers of Births(1st floor) Death in black(2nd) Marriages (3rd) & top floor is the Census ledger’s.
