Lots of water

The water thundered downriver and was impressive to watch but also rather scary too.  
I was at the hairdressers later on this afternoon and I usually get asked if I want hairspray at the end, but we decided it was so windy outside hairspray was a waste of time.  I admitted to my hairdresser years ago that in a previous job I sometimes used to dry my hair in the car on the way to work by turning the car heater on, the journey took about 45/50 minutes so that was plenty of time for it dry.  Every so often she reminds me of this, I think she is still aghast.
