Good Deed for the Day

Came home after work yesterday to find a pile of letters on our path just by the house. A total of 17 letters and parcel that had just been dropped, in the melting snow, by the postman! How you couldn't hear that thud down I have no idea. They were for houses just up the road so after drying them overnight we posted them this morning. Good deed done for the day!

In general I think the Royal Mail is a great thing (I sure wouldn't take just 50p to take a letter to the other side of the country!) but in this case it was let down by the last piece of the puzzle!

The rest of the day was supposed to be a relaxing day but with a few things still on the to-do list for Christmas the relaxing will have to wait until this evening!
