Hit the roof
An annoying morning of wrangling with banking and credit card apps, trying to verify my identity via phone numbers that I no longer have and a 3G connection that was on the blink city-wide. I feel like a money launderer blocked from accessing information. Yet it’s my information and there isn’t enough dinheiro in there to interest any launderer.
A refreshing shower and burger in a cheap and cheerful lunch spot perked me up. I achieved a nine hour burst of work, punctuated at sunset by a jaunt to the rooftop, as pictured. Amongst the sea of plastic bottles, bird droppings and unidentifiable but lethal rusty protuberances, it’s a tranquil enough spot to have a ponder.
Although the office I’ve been perching in is moving and slowly emptying, there was still time to be shown a video clip of ‘songs that turn 30 in 2019.’ Some classics in there. Delve in:
