Big bill

I went off to a meeting today at the Arts Council, very civilised as always.  On the way back I got a call from my car mechanic to say that if I wanted to replace the noisy air-conditioning compressor on my car, it was going to cost over £1,000.  Now, it is quite noisy sometimes, but not £1,000 noisy.  We will just have to put up with the noise and hope that it doesn't seize up altogether in France's big summer heat. I stopped on the way back to grab some shots down by the shore.  The air was freezing, not a good move when you have post 'flu chesty cough.
