Wet pavement

Walking home from Rock Choir the sun was shining brightly on a wet pavement with Susan’s shadow cast on the shining surface. It was an ordinary, everyday scene, rendered abstract by the juxtaposition of light and people. That to me is what it is about: everyday situations creating an abstract image. Doreen remains in hospital after yesterday’s TIA. Mainly for physiotherapy and to check that she’s fit to go home. Susan spent the afternoon visiting while completed all sorts of tasks including many on Doreen’s behalf.
