Blackness Castle

Drove over to Dunfermline Dobbies at lunch time to meet a friend of old to exchange presents & have bite to eat, met up with her extended family too, good fun to see the grand kids doing their Nativity parts!
Coming back over the Bridge the sun was blinding after a cloudy day! It was 8 degrees! Stopped off at Blackness to take a few photos, notice the sun shining on Dunfermline on the north side of the river! Blackness guards this part of the river, it was the main port for Linlithgow in olden days! Great castle to explore maintained by Historic Scotland. It's one of those hidden secrets we have all over Scotland!
