Flower Friday . . . A Moment In Time . . .

is the name of this floribunda rose.  It was soaking up the light rain that fell this morning.   
Yesterday Gillyh recommended I eat the figs with cheese and ham.  For lunch I made an open sandwich using ciabatta bread and it is a delicious combination.

Shockingly we have caught up with the rest of the world and this afternoon shootings occurred in two Christchurch Mosques.  Multiply fatalities and injuries.  My lovely daughter is in lock down in her office building in the city and so are schools in the area.  Very frightening and horrific. 
Later tonight . . . Yes my daughter is safely home.  She is more shaken than I realised and I have talked to her on the phone this evening.
