Archaeology Visit

This is the mat which was the base for the archaeology experience at Motcombe Primary today . We put artefacts on different layers hidden under carpet ‘soil’ and fake grass . The children were a Year 5 class and they were so enthusiastic. It was so nice to interact with children in an informal way without being the ‘teacher’ .
Whilst we were delivering the experience, the storm raged outside and a tree came down in the playground.
A visit to the hygienist which resulted in a frozen mouth meant I didn’t get to Ukulele so instead I watched the Brexit shenanigans on tv ! :))
