Jewel Cave

Travelled from Augusta to Dunsborough today. Odd finally hitting areas that were familiar again after so long in new places.

In the morning we stopped off at Jewel Cave. Our third Western Australia cave. A fully guided tour meant you learnt so much. Down as deep as 42m below ground level is always a bit unnerving but it was a great hour of exploring.

This is a ‘drip stone’ that resembles the local Karri trees.
