2019 Wednesday — Traffic!!!
After my time in the Writing Lab ended, I stayed in my office to get ready for Thursday classes. I was completely surprised by the grid-locked traffic.
Something had snarled traffic on the main highway, which is Hamner Avenue. When I finally reached that area, a Sheriffs officer was directing traffic but I did not see any sign of a traffic accident.
Years ago when the college was planned, the people who did the planning didn’t prepare for a population of 10,000 students. With only one road in or out of the campus, the traffic situation can be just beyond frustrating.
I had already sent a text to Mr. Fun to let him know I was finally headed home. So once I added my car to the parade of traffic, I sent him some photos and a message that I’d be awhile. Thankfully I know lots of the back-streets so once I got off of Third Street I knew which route to take that would get me home quickly.
