Glasses and Glass

So, that went better than expected. We collected the father-in-law's new glasses today, and he really likes them. They make things much sharper and clearer, surprise surprise!

When we arrived we noticed a dangerous looking crack in the front door pane. We knew there was a small crack there before, but now it was much more severe, with a very sharp edge of glass exposed. 'Oh I did that' he said. 'I fell over coming in one day, can't remember when'. I commented he was lucky he didn't go straight through it and bleed to death, to which he replied he had spent most of his life avoiding bleeding to death. Anyway we managed to get a glazier to come and make it safe and order a replacement (toughed glass this time).
