VIEW FROM GIUDECCA

at the Fondamenta Zattere. 
We had crossed in the morning the Canale della Giudecca to visit the island. We came along the enormous Ex Molini Stucky, now a Hilton Hotel.
Looked over the Laguna at the south side, and walked over the Scca Fisola, with new houses. From there we walked almost the whole island, and when we nearly came to the other end, and had in mind to cross the Canale between Giudecca and the Isola S Giorgio Maggiore, we decided suddenly to take the vaporetto to the Fondazione Nove and sail from there to Burano and Mazzorbo, because the weather was so gorgeous.
We had bought a ticket for 3 days and can enter as much boats as we like.
We arrived at Burano at nearly 2 pm and enjoyed a meal first.
My extra shows a photo of a typical Burano sight. So many houses are cheerfully paint and you see everywhere photographers taking many photos.
Another extra is of lovely blossom in a garden at Mazzorbo, an island near Burano.
We took the boat back to Venice and came home at nearly six pm.
