Hate

The cats (brother and sister aged 14 years) have recently started fighting with each other.  Leia - pictured - is half the size of her brother Indie.  She is a cross growling and hissing cat when he's around.  They are not happy together at all at the moment.

We've been horrified by the shooting of people in the mosque events in Christchurch, New Zealand yesterday.  New Zealand?  When I was there 30 years ago a wonderful tolerant peaceful place... My lovely friend Amanda lives there, (we met in Australia 30 years ago) and Ros an English friend travelled back from there today having had the holiday of a lifetime.  

Both are OK but it has left us all reeling..

Sam knew the news by the time he came home from college and had been shown the live footage of the shooter killing people which the shooter had shared on social media.  I feel sick about the atrocity and sick that he has seen the footage and simply at a loss how to protect our children from this brutal world.
