CJ

This is CJ the lovely cob swan on our local canal (Shropshire Union) coming towards me to have a chat as I took a quick walk there this afternoon (before going to work for a couple of hours; there's so much on my desk to try and get cleared before next Friday). There were two fishermen on the towpath with rapt expressions and very long rods and CJ and his wife and lots of the other ducks were annoying the fishermen in the hope of some bread or other morsels coming their way. I stood around for a little while in the hope I might capture a catch/landing (or whatever the fisherfolk call it) and I was rewarded but........ the landing of the little fish was all a bit frenzied and I didn't manage to get any of it on camera!!

Weather much better today but still showery so Mr. T couldn't go flying, poor thing, so we are home together this evening and are looking forward to just chilling and a bit more present wrapping.
