Strangers on a Train

Oh how I love long Indian train journeys and the chance to spend time with charming young people like these 3..

They are all young software engineers off to Haridwar for bungy jumping and celebrating Holi.

We chatted for most of the journey about everything. The girls who both come from Southern India have never spoken to "English" people before. They had also never been to Delhi before. Delightful Santoshi, Rishi and Chaitanya.

We are in Haridwar for 2 nights. Off to a river ceremony in the Ganges later and on a safari trip tomorrow morning.
