Scotch eggs

Husband and daughter are reunited after her return from university, and are bonding themselves in the kitchen. Tonight's project is Scotch eggs (for those of you who don't know, this involves hardboiled eggs covered in sausage meat and then breadcrumbs, and finaly deepfried).

I know it sounds unhealthy, but it's definitely not as bad as deep fried Mars Bars - another Scotch tradition.

The maroon nail varnish belongs to my daughter, by the way, and not to my husband.
