Ben Sayers

Been away for awhile - it was good to take a break from what felt like an daily obligation. I haven't even lifted a camera lately but in the last week or so I have been doing a little work for the Art UK public sculpture project.

Ben Sayers is one of North Berwick's golfing pioneers, a professional and also a maker of balls and golf clubs.   The brand continued after his death and I'm pretty sure the factory still operated in North Berwick until the 1990s when production moved to China (fact check?).   I play golf very rarely these days but still have Ben Sayers drivers and woods.
