Stolen

It has been 'one of those weeks'.  One incident involved a stolen hot cross bun which was then eaten by Merlin!  To be more accurate, he stole and ate half a hot-cross bun which Andy had left at the back of the work surface whilst he answered the door.  Currants, raisins and sultanas can be highly toxic to dogs and all the advice is to take them to the vet if they consume them.  We knew Merlin had only had about six dried fruit but apparently individual dogs vary as to how sensitive they are to them.  We didn't want to take the risk of damaging Merlin's kidneys so Andy ended up taking him to the vet.  £130 later the bun was no longer in his stomach!  Oh well, we'll just have to be much more careful in future!
