We went to the Photography Show at the NEC. 
I spent a pound on the latest issue of Amateur Photographer and that was the total of my purchases! 
Loosecanon and DavidC splashed a bit more cash though, which no doubt they will reveal in the coming days.
This was a demonstration of lighting a model for a portrait. In this case he was far too harshly lit but it did light his blue eyes up quite well. LooseCanon is blipping a better picture of him.
The extra shows our little select group of Blipmeeters, except for LooseCanon  who had momentarily dodged behind someone else!
