Siskin

Another wild day and a walk through the wood proved tricky with small branches breaking off the trees as I made my way around.

A quick natter with one of the lovely young ladies who lives on our patch (still in her jim-jams), which turned into a good half hour.  Another lady pulled up in her car to say her mum aged 102 (who also lives on the patch) died a couple of days ago.  Not bad for someone still living at home (albeit with a live-in carer).

Then I got home to find a letter from an old boss who lives in Pickering to say his wife had died earlier in the week.

Anyway the grandchildren have just gone home and this is my picture for the day.
