Snow Arrives

Seconds before I took this shot, there had been several birds on the feeders but suddenly they all vanished.  I thought I had scared them and then I saw Simba creeping along the edge of the wall on his way to the kitchen doors:-)  He'd only been out for about 5 minutes, but that was obviously enough snow for him:-)

A day for staying at home and keeping warm.  I had the urge to do some baking and planned to make two cakes, but didn't have all the ingredients for the second one, so just made a Lemon Drizzle (se Extra).  Without a shred of false modesty, TJ and I have declared it the best Lemon Drizzle cake we have ever eaten:-)  How did that happen?  My baking is often hit and miss. but this is definitely a big hit.  It doesn't look much in the photo, but the taste is out of this world:-)
