Flood Alert

It's rained all day and is still raining.
All roads into Hebden Bridge along the valley are flooded and closed to traffic. Some of the high level routes are open - but many are not.
The Flood Warning Siren was sounded this afternoon.
I was down in the town this morning and this is Hebden Water on its way to join the River Calder a little further down.
The forecast is for the rain to ease this evening, but continue later.  Let's hope the lull gives the river levels chance to reduce a little.
