No idea what these are!

A dull and very windy day.  Went to the hairdressers this morning as I'm going to see my son and grandchildren tomorrow.  It looked great until I came out but she cuts it so well that it soon falls back in place.  Went for a quick walk over the common and took a few photos.  I liked this one, have no idea what it is but colourful on a grey day.
