Avalanche
Despite blizzard and avalanche warnings, Doug and Wendy Bender hit the steep slopes of Mt. Charmin today. Six inches of fresh, powdery snow over a layer of glaze ice made traversing the almost vertical incline extremely treacherous. The going was tough and slow but being pros and always taking the proper precautions, such as staying tethered together at all times, the climb went fine...fine, that is until Wendy Bender let out a joyous "woohoo!!" when she reached the peak.
I'm sure Doug will make it, he's pretty tough.
