Instruments of Torture?

No, they're pom-pom makers.

Alexandra got them for me on Friday.  Isabella was so excited about them, she ripped the package open before I read the instructions!

Needless, to say I had no idea how to use them.  But, I managed to read enough of the instructions to work it out.  So, with my big box of wool, I did make the girls a few.  That was until, they both started to pull the wool out of the box, and were getting in a terrible muddle.

I have quite a few different pom-pom makers.  I must admit though I still prefer using two pieces of cut out cardboard.

Had an early morning phone call from the Drs. asking for my husband to go in and see them.  He made an appointment for Monday afternoon.

I felt a bit fidgety after that so I went out for a little while.  I think everyone else decided to go out too.  Probably because it had been raining.

Out next door neighbour seems to be selling her goods off.  Today she sold some of their fitness equipment, a fridge, and 2 kayaks!

They don't seem to be doing much else.  They certainly haven't tidied up. Although, she did finally throw away some  empty mango boxes, that had been there since Christmas!

The burnt out car is still there.  And when you walk past you can still smell petrol.  Considering the drenching we've been having, I can only assume the petrol smell is coming from the house!!
