Casualties

I had to travel down the hill by train to collect the car from the repairers - nothing dire, just a service really, and a replacement part which was covered under warranty.

This rather desolate view was across the line from me - just more casualties of our dry and hot summer.  Something tells me that these trees are not going to recover.
