Owl

.... a Great Grey Owl.

The weather has changed overnight, the wind has subsided and it's been a much more pleasant day.

After getting home from last nights shift I went to bed for about 4 hours and then hit the road to Kensworth to meet my friend who volunteers on certain days at Whipsnade. After a catch up coffee and a late breakfast during his break I walked with him to the Veteriny Centre and also to Owl Wood. The Grey Owl is one of many to be found there (better in large).

Now home I'm looking forward to my Sunday dinner and a relaxing chilled out afternoon and evening.
