Faithful Friend

Having bought some net curtain fabric last weekend that was too long for the windows, today was the day to dust off my old faithful friend of 30 years and set to work taking them up ;-)

Having not used the machine for many years it took a while to work out how to thread it and make a new bobbin!!

Patience paid off and Mr W hung a new track for me and they were hung successfully (see extra).

Today I sewed the small 3 metre window - next week I’ve got to tackle the larger 12 metre one!!!
