Frustration

These two jackdaws have been thwarted! After the 'clattering' or 'train' of jackdaws that visit my garden managed to eat their way through 8 fat balls in one morning I decided to limit what they could get at. So in a Heath Robinson impersonation I surrounded one of the feeders with two hanging baskets made into a 'globe'. The 'little' birds were rather wary at first but a couple of long tailed tits led the way and it is now being well used. The jackdaws still have plenty to eat from other feeding stations but they were giving me grumpy stares this afternoon!
I had to look up the collective noun for jackdaws!
