Orchid

Sunday is my orchid day. I fill the plant pots to the brim- orchid pots are designed so you can do this. I leave the water in all night then tip the water out the next day. Occasionally I put a bit of orchid feed in the water. The temperature is just normal central heating- about 20 degrees. I sometimes leave about an inch of water in the bottom of the pot to give a bit of humidity. Some of my orchids I have had for many years and they always repeat flower. I went on holiday before Christmas and the heating went off so they got very cold and all the flowers fell off over the following few weeks. The buds stayed on and since then they have flowered.
