Emmetts Gardens

...near Sevenoaks, Kent. A National Trust property. 

We wanted to make the most of the sun today, albeit very chilly, and drove in the MG to here after dinner. We just about made it before closing, in time to enjoy a good walk and to see the banks of what will be bluebells, and some early flowering azaleas, camellias and magnolia trees. The view across to Ide Hill was wonderful, matched by the clouds today.

Other flowers beginning to show and lots of reason to return soon.

The skies darkened as we drove home and down came the hail stones big time!
