A magical day

Spent the day in and around Kakadu National Park which is an amazing, almost prehistoric environment. Lots of highlights, but my two favorites have to be the flight over the park to see the waterfalls in a small 8 seater plane - I was so busy gawping I took very few pictures! Then, after lunch I enjoyed a cruise on the Yellow River which was extraordinarily peaceful and full of birds including a majestic pair of sea eagles and crocodiles.

This evening I’m staying at a hotel that is designed in the shape of an actual crocodile! Odd but it seems to work.
