Taking down a shed

The trees here are due to be felled after a large branch came down when Gareth was blowing through. This will open up a sunny area for more fruit trees in the future. The potting shed was built from a larger one moved from Cumbria some twenty years ago and although it was beginning to look fragile it was fine. Some of the wood from it will be used for shelving in the poly tunnel.

The collage shows the roof coming off (the corrugated pieces will now cover a revamped log area), easing off the front panel/doorway trying to avoid stepping and falling on daffodils, and the three remaining sides. Under the floor was bone dry, Mackie tabster had a great time inspecting all those smells. Panels of wood are now piled up ready to be used elsewhere.
