Pantano de Elche / Elche dam

Isn't it gorgeous?

We had a big day today. It's been cloudy and cold, so a good day for sightseeing Rio Vinalopó. We started at Elche city and walked along the river bends. It's really beautiful with all the bridges and aqueducts.

Then we drove to Novelda and visited Castillo de la Mola / Mola castle. The castle of La Mola is of Almohad origin, and was built in the 12th century on an old Roman fortification.

Then we drove back to Elche and visited Elche dam. This picture from the dam naturally. More pics of our day in Insta:
