Deal or no deal

In a world of unexpected firsts, I think the sight of a Prime Minister who has offered a free vote on her own motion ruling out ‘no deal’, so that the real headbangers in her cabinet can vote against it without being sacked - only to then try and whip her party to defeat HER OWN MOTION because it has been amended to make it useful, is genuinely special. Particularly as it turns an easy win on her own motion into a defeat.

This country is an embarrassing mess.
