Oh, Christmas Tree

Earlier this week, I was inspired to decorate the house for Christmas. Our 32" fiber optic tree is a family favorite, and something that our cat Oliver adores each year.

Yes, the cat loves this tree, and I believe views it as "his."

Imagine our dismay when the tree did not light up. The bulb was shot, victim of too many years of temperature changes and tossing around in the basement.

Fortunately, my daughter ordered a new bulb online, and yesterday, Oliver got his tree back.

Some may find it cheesy, but we love this little tree. Ollie sits and stares at it for hours, along with his Christmas puppy. In fact, the tree inspired him to take a job at the North Pole a while back, and he had a great adventure there with Santa and his reindeer.
